Biography

Michael is a rising third year PhD student interested in using frontier quantitative methods to answer difficult question in public economics. In his current work he is using heterogenous treatment effects models to measure the effects of age at kindergarten entry on different students, and as a research assistant for Brian Jacob is evaluating the choice behaviors and effects of taking career technical education in Michigan high schools. Prior to studying at the University of Michigan, Michael worked as a research assistant at and graduated from Brigham Young University with B.S. in economics and a minor in Mathematics.
