Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an essential component of our education system, providing students with the academic, technical, and soft skills necessary for success in college and careers across a wide range of occupations. Through partnerships with school districts and state agencies, Youth Policy Lab has conducted research describing inequities in CTE access and participation, identifying barriers, and bringing stakeholders together to discuss program and policy changes that could expand and improve CTE.
