Meeting college students' emergency needs is the focus of Open Door, a pilot project launching this fall at Henry Ford College and Wayne State University to help with issues such as food, housing, transportation and more....The Kresge Foundation has provided a $300,000 grant for the University of Michigan Youth Policy Lab, in partnership with WSU's Detroit PEER, to evaluate the project through 2028 and potentially scale it up.
