
Jonas (Zhonghan) Xie
Zhonghan Xie is a second-year Master of Public Policy student at Ford School of Public Policy, with a keen interest in in education policies and healthcare policies. He is passionate for finding effective and scalable interventions to enhance educational and health outcomes of students from low-income families. Before studying in United States, Zhonghan accomplished his bachelor’s degree in public administration from Sun Yat-sen University in China.
During his undergraduate years, Zhonghan did several research in non-cognitive skills and the development of vocational schools in China. Furthermore, Zhonghan interned at a local educational NGO in Guangzhou for four years and deeply engaged in development and evaluation of several educational programs for migrant students in urban China.
