Youth Mental Health and Social Emotional Learning
Youth mental health is an important aspect of overall well-being, significantly associated with educational performance and the development of strong social relationships. Youth Policy Lab acknowledges that addressing mental health issues early on is crucial in supporting youth well-being and helping them develop the skills that are necessary to thrive in life. We collaborate with state agencies and non-profit organizations to identify youth mental health needs and work to enhance and evaluate programs, assessing and improving the effectiveness of school-based mental health initiatives.
