Early Intervention

The first three years of life are crucial for cognitive and physical development. Identifying developmental delays early and offering early intervention services during this time can greatly affect a child’s future education, behavior, health, and overall life outcomes. YPL works with state and local governments, medical institutions, and nonprofit organizations, using rigorous data-driven methods to identify persistent issues that prevent eligible families from accessing early intervention programs. We also conduct program evaluations to explore the impact of interventions aimed at connecting eligible families with these essential services.
