Giuliana Cusumano
Giuliana Cusumano is an MS in Information (User Experience Research and Design) student at the University of Michigan School of Information. Prior to graduate school, she worked in project coordination at Arbor Research Collaborative for Health, UM College of Engineering, and UM Institute for Social Research, supporting federally funded community-based participatory research in Detroit focused on residential energy security, weatherization, and health outcomes.
Giuliana is passionate about ensuring that high-quality, community-informed data meaningfully informs analytics used in public policy decision-making. She holds a BA in International Relations from Michigan State University and is currently a research assistant at the Youth Policy Institute, where she supports projects evaluating state and local education initiatives impacting youth outcomes.
