Youth Policy Lab FY 2024/2025 Annual Report
For nearly a decade, the University of Michigan Youth Policy Lab has been deeply committed to exploring and analyzing the critical issues facing youth and families. We are thankful to our partners that turn to us for our evaluation and research expertise to help them understand what is effective and impactful, and then use this knowledge to make informed policy and program decisions. We are committed to our work because we know that it enables community and government agencies to make sound decisions that will improve the lives of young people now and in the future.
As we present our annual report, we reflect on a year of pivotal research at the Youth Policy Lab, particularly in the areas of education governance, career and technical education, maternal and infant health, adolescent mental health, and early interventions for infants and toddlers. With over 20 projects in our portfolio, we have engaged in work affecting youth from infancy through early adulthood. We are also proud of our efforts to deliver high-quality training and mentorship for future and early career policy professionals through ASPIRE and the Policy Fellowship program.
