Rukmini Nallamothu

Rukmini is a rising senior majoring in Public Policy at the University of Michigan’s Ford School. Her work centers on the intersection of education and health policy, with a focus on promoting equity for underserved communities. She is currently a research assistant at the Youth Policy Lab, where she supports projects evaluating state and local education initiatives that impact youth outcomes. Previously, she conducted research at the Opioid Research Institute, analyzing the effectiveness of prescription policies across the country, and fundraised for statewide reproductive health campaigns with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan. Rukmini is passionate about using research and policy to drive systems-level change in education and healthcare.
