The 2026 ASPIRE participants presented their research findings, marking the culmination of their experience in the eight-week summer program. ASPIRE (Applied Social Policy Internship and Research Experience) is an eight-week summer internship program for rising college juniors and seniors from Spelman and Morehouse Colleges. Participating students advanced their quantitative social science research skills, gained a greater understanding about careers that involve public policy research, and established connections to the University of Michigan.
