Livingston County College and Career Opportunities Study

The Livingston Educational Service Agency (LESA) partnered with the Youth Policy Lab on a report about Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Enrollment (DE), Early Middle College (EMC), and Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Livingston's five school districts and three public charter high schools. This report includes background information about each program, a description of available courses at each school, and enrollment patterns by gender, race/ethnicity, and other student categories (when sufficient data are available). It includes barriers to participation for each program and provides recommendations for further research or action steps to increase access, enrollment, and success. The report concludes with a summary of enrollment patterns across programs and districts, insights into why students choose certain programs over others, and potential ways to expand the options available to Livingston's high school students.
