Triana Kazaleh Sirdenis

A seasoned researcher and organizer, Triana’s expertise is grounded in collaborative program design, participatory research, evaluation, structural public health practice, group processes, and health communication.

Triana spent five years working with CommonHealth ACTION (CHA), a health equity organization based in Washington, D.C.. During this time, she managed the Strategic Initiatives of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Leaders program and oversaw CHA’s Evaluation & Assessment Team which conducted equity-focused assessments and evaluations for organizations around the country.

Prior to this, Triana directed the MFierce Coalition at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health. Using practices of community-based participatory research, the coalition designed and implemented a LGBTQ+ cultural humility-based training and technical assistance program for health departments and health centers. She has worked on environmental health inequities, food insecurity, and intimate partner violence at across a range of entities including ACCESS Community Health and Research Center and Michigan State University.

Triana earned an MPH from the University of Michigan with a focus on health communication and community/ecological practice, and a BA in Health Studies and Psychology from Michigan State University.
